Your birth details, your reflections and your voice are personal. Nkrabea collects only what it needs to read your sky, protects it, and never sells it or uses it for advertising.

What Nkrabea collects

• Your answers. The name you go by and your full birth name; your date, time and place of birth (or that you don’t know the time); your astrology and numerology traditions; the areas of life you follow; your reminder times and quiet hours; your language, voice and speaking speed.
• Your account, if you make one. Your email address, or the sign-in identifier Apple or Google gives us. With Apple you can hide your email; we then receive a private relay address.
• Permissions you choose. Notifications, so reminders can arrive. The microphone, so you can speak with Nkrabea. Location is optional and only refines the local sky.

There is no advertising, tracking or analytics software in the app.

Where it is kept

• On your phone first. Until you sign in, your answers stay on your device, in its encrypted keychain or keystore.
• In your account, if you sign in. Your answers are saved to your Nkrabea account so they follow you to a new phone. Only you can read or change them. They are encrypted on their way to us and where they are stored.

How it is used

• To cast your birth chart, work out your numbers, and write the messages and reminders you choose.
• Our sky engine computes your chart from your birth details each time it is asked, and does not keep them.
• When a language model writes your daily message, it receives your first name, the areas you follow, your number of the day and short descriptions of the day’s sky. It does not receive your birth date, time or place.
• When voice conversation arrives, your speech will be turned into text and the audio then deleted. Keeping recordings will be your choice.

Who helps us run Nkrabea

These providers process data only to provide their part of the service:

• Supabase: accounts, sign-in and saved answers.
• Anthropic: the Claude language model that writes daily messages, from the details listed above.
• Apple and Google: sign-in if you choose them, and delivery of notifications.
• GitHub and Cloudflare: GitHub hosts this website; Cloudflare runs the nkrabea.app domain and delivers the site to your browser.

Before any new provider receives your data, for example a speech service when voice conversation arrives, we will name it here.

Your choices

• Use Nkrabea without an account; your answers then stay on your phone.
• Ask for a copy of everything we hold about you, or for any of it to be corrected.
• Delete your account and everything in it. Until the delete button arrives in the app’s settings, write to us and we will do it within one month.
• Turn off any permission at any time in your phone’s settings.

These rights follow the data-protection laws of the countries we serve, including the EU and UK GDPR, Ghana’s Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) and Nigeria’s Data Protection Act, 2023.

This website

nkrabea.app sets no cookies and runs no analytics. Its fonts are served from this site, not from a third party.

GitHub hosts the site and Cloudflare delivers it, so both handle visitors’ IP addresses to serve the pages and keep them secure. Cloudflare also hides our email address from spam robots, and your browser may send Cloudflare a short technical report if a page fails to load.

Children

Nkrabea is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us their details, write to us and we will delete them.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes, we will update this page and tell you in the app before the change takes effect.
